Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you offer all inclusive packages? No we don’t, our rates include breakfast.
2. Can I make a reservation with you that includes all the flights and transportation? No, but we can happily recommend some of the travel agencies we work with closely if you would like a recommendation.
3. Are there taxes in addition to the rates? No, San Andres archipelago is a tax free zone, so there is no taxes for any clients to pay on top of anything.
4. Are credit cards accepted? We accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Most other places on Providencia island don’t accept cards though. It’s best to bring some pesos, or a debit card that will enable you to take cash out of one of Providencia islands ATMs.
5. How do I get from the airport / port to the hotel? Taxis await all incoming flights from San Andres Island and the journey to Deep Blue takes less than 10 minutes. All taxi drivers are bi-lingual and they all know where to find Deep Blue. Only taxis are permitted to collect guests from the airport – by law we are unable to collect our guests ourselves.
6. Can you arrange anything special for honeymoons, anniversaries or birthdays? Yes, please read about of romantic packages. Please let us know if you would like to make the romantic package a surprise for your partner.
7. How do I travel to Providencia Island? Please see the section on getting to Providencia Island.
8. What's the baggage allowance on the Satena flights from San Andres to Providencia? You're allowed 10kg per person but it's almost always possible to bring heavier bags and pay a small excess baggage fee in the region of USD $1-2 per additonal kilo. There is also a luggage lock-up facility at San Andres airport.  During peak high season (e. Christmas, New Year, Easter Week) is can be harder to bring additional bags so you are advised to only bring one suitcase during that busy period.

10. How do I get the best rate? You will always get the best rate booking with us directly via our online reservations engine. We encourage all of our clients to book this way rather than via other travel websites. If you check-out our FaceBook page you might get wind of some of our occasional low season promotions.
